Where to share confidential case details
The contact form is suitable for a first enquiry. A message sent through it does not create a lawyer and client relationship, a mediation engagement or any other professional engagement. Visitors with a dispute, a court-referred matter or a case in progress can describe it in general terms and keep privileged documents, medical records and financial account details for after an engagement is agreed. Information shared once an engagement begins is subject to the terms of that engagement and the confidentiality rules governing the work.
Your choices about consent
Madhyastham uses personal data for the purpose for which the visitor gave it. Each form carries a consent statement and a link to this policy. A visitor can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as it was given, through the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to the Privacy Contact below. Withdrawal applies from that point onward.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to see which pages visitors use. Analytics cookies load only after a visitor accepts them in the cookie banner. Visitors can also block or delete cookies in their browser settings, although some features may then work differently.
Who sees your information
Madhyastham uses personal data only for the purposes in this policy. It shares personal data in these situations only:
- With service providers that host the website, handle forms, deliver emails or provide analytics. They act on Madhyastham’s instructions and carry confidentiality and security obligations.
- When a court order, law or competent authority requires disclosure.
- When disclosure helps Madhyastham establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Where your data is stored
Madhyastham stores personal data on the servers of its hosting and email providers, which may sit outside India. Where data leaves India, Madhyastham complies with the transfer conditions set by Indian law.
How long Madhyastham keeps your data
- Contact form messages and correspondence: respond as long as needed and for 24 months after the last communication. Madhyastham then erases them unless the law requires longer retention.
- Academy update requests: until Madhyastham announces the course or session, or the visitor withdraws, whichever comes first.
- Newsletter email addresses: until the subscriber unsubscribes, then erased within 30 days.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
How Madhyastham protects your data
Madhyastham protects personal data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to authorised team members and regular backups. No method of internet transmission is completely secure, so Madhyastham reviews these safeguards regularly. If a personal data breach affects a visitor, Madhyastham informs that visitor and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
